Wet N' Wild Color Icon Pencil Liners!

Hello! I have a few photos to share with you. I recently purchased 3 Wet N' Wild Color Icon Eyeliners. I've owned one for them for quite a while. They usually retail for .99 cents at Walgreens and other drugstores. But for a while, they've been retailing at just .49 cents! However, they weren't marked down on the shelves. When I checked out at my local Walgreens, they came up as being only .49 cents. Oh, was I excited! ***Click on any picture to enlarge it!

So the shades I own are White, Turquoise, Bronzed, and Amethyst. These pencils work great as liners or even as bases for eyeshadows. They are that smooth that you could easily use them as creamy bases.

Here are some closer pictures at the actual pencils. I like that the textures of the actual pencils sort of reflect the formula of the pencil! Neat, huh? Well, I thought so!

In this picture, you can really see the texture of the actual pencil. See how the top 3 have sparkle to them?  The bottom one is smooth.

Here are the points of the pencils:

Here are swatches! Click on the pictures to enlarge them, though I made them rather large already!

White is a great pencil for your inner corner & for opening up the eyes on the bottom waterline. Don't expect it to last all day on your waterline, but when first applied, it looks great! It's a very creamy pencil.

Turquoise is a really pretty pencil to own! It totally makes me think of summer and the ocean. This pencil actually has tiny bits of glitter in the formula. In the swatch above, it looks much bluer than it actually is. It's much more green blue in person.

Bronzed is a very pretty, shimmery bronze pencil. It looks so pretty! Again, this pencil was incredibly smooth to apply. It looks very metallic.

Amethyst is another pretty shimmery shade. It's very plumy and smooth to apply as well. In the above swatch, it appear darker than it is. In person it is really pretty and metallic looking.

I really recommend all of these Color Icon pencils! I'm sure the other many shades are just as lovely! I will have to say though that these pencils smear very easily. So if you use them as liner, set them with a similar colored eye shadow. But for the price, the application and pigmentation is so superior!

Make sure to check these out! Don't forget that just because it isn't marked down, that it won't ring up cheaper! I was very happy to see the computers at my Walgreens ring these up for only .49 cents! But for being only .99 cents originally, who can complain about price??

Expect to see an eye look using these pencils very soon!
Have a lovely day!

Estee Lauder Free Gift With Purchase Tote

I was in my local Macy's a few days ago, and I stopped by the make up counters. Of course, I was drawn to the Clinique counter. They had adorable summer floral bags available for purchase. But I was short on funds, so I went over to Estee Lauder. I spent around $38 to receive a free tote w/ some goodies. I bought my best friend a birthday gift: a nail polish & lipstick. I took the liberty of swatching them, with her consent, of course! ;)

The free goodies included:
-Large Tote
-Choice of Advanced Night Repair Serum(I chose the Perfectionist Wrinkle Lifting for my aunt)
-Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming Cleanser for Normal/Combination Skin
-Gentle Eye Makeup Remover
-2 FULL SIZED Pure Color Long Lasting Lipsticks in Bois de Rose and Nectarine
-Double Wear Zero-Smudge Lengthening Mascara

I have some swatches & pictures of the products I received. Please excuse the odd collage of images I have for the lipsticks. I thought it'd be easier to put them on one canvas than to have several pictures posted in a row. ***Click the images to enlarge them!!!!

My gift of purchase goodies!

This tote is huge! Perfect for a day at the beach.

From L-R: Nectarine Lipstick, Splash Away Foaming Cleanser, Perfectionist Repair Serum, Makeup Remover,  Bois de Rose Lipstick, and Doubloe Wear Mascara in front.
I used the foaming cleanser once, and I liked it. It doesn't have a strong scent and it made my skin feel clean. It took of all of my face makeup, but alot of cleansers I use do that. I don't think I'd purchase it alone.

The serum I gave away, so I don't have anything to say about that! =(

The makeup remover is great! It removes all of my eyeshadow, liner, and mascara. It's pretty gentle as well! I like this very much!

The mascara works great for the under eye lashes! I didn't like it on my top lashes at all. But It really separates and lengthens my bottom lashes perfectly.

Here are some swatches of the lipsticks, both the free ones, and the one I bought for my friend!
From L-R: Long Lasting Lipstick in Nectarine, LLL in Bois de Rose, and Pure Color Gloss Stick in Berry Pink.
Long Lasting Lipstick in Bois de Rose
This is a really pretty dusty pink rose red. It's the most wearable red I own. I like the texture of these lipsticks. They are really smooth and moisturizing.

Pure Color Gloss Stick in Berry Pink
My best friend loves reds and berry shades. This is her ideal color & i love it! The packaging of this lipcolor is so chic and devine! The name Berry Pink describes it perfectly.
Long Lasting Lipstick in Nectarine
This Lipstick looks really red in the bullet. But on the lips, it is much more pinky and slightly apricot. It's a pretty color but I didn't want it for me.
Pure Color Nail Lacquer in Rosa Rosa

This is a really pretty rose color. It look alot more pink in the bottle, and comes out more rose red on the nails. I have this on my fingers and toes & I love it! Please excuse the chipping and poor condition of my nails!! I've had this on for 5 days, and my nails get dinged so easily. Plus, I have no top coat on. This polish applies very smoothly & application is a breeze.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures! I don't usually purchase Estee Lauder products. I was very VERY close to purchasing the Bronze Goddess Island Oasis eyeshadow palette or the Soliel Perfume. It smells like summer & the beach! =)

Enjoy your day! Make it lovely!!

EOTD: Summer Baby Brown Eyes

Hello there! So it certainly feels like summer here in the south! We can't seem to get out of the upper 90's here! The humidity is also on full blast. I'm not going to lie, I'm ready for some cooler weather already! But I'm going to soak up the summer sun while I can! =)

I did an EOTD based off of a look I saw on youtube by Amarixe, or Allison. She called it "Sailor's Sunset", which she always comes up with cute names for her tutorials! Here's a link to the look she did:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I03igZSN_AA

I think this is such a pretty look for summer! Her eyes are the prettiest blue eyes I've ever seen! But I don't have baby blues! My eyes are brown, so I thought I'd choose a different under eye blue color. I chose navy, because I think navy looks great with brown eyes. I used completely different products that can be found at any drugstore. Well, here we go! *** Click on images to enlarge!***
Here are some products I used:
Maybelline Shocking Seas Duo, Elf Butternut Quad, Wet N Wild Vanity Palette

Jordana Fabuliner, WNW White Pencil, ELF Midnight Pencil, WNW Pixi Pencil

Liners, in reverse order as above

Rimmel Max Volume Flash Mascara
Step 1:
Prep your eye lids with Wet N Wild Color Icon Pencil in Pixi, or any primer.
Step 2:
Apply a light shimmery gold shade to the inner corner of the lid. Then take a yellow gold over the rest of your lid. I used the WNW Color Icon Palette in Vanity. I used the white & yellow golds.
Step 3
Apply a bronze shade to the outer v and crease area. I used the shimmery bronze shade in the ELF Butternut quad. Blend all the colors out. Use the cream color in the WNW Vanity palette as a highlight.
Step 4:
Line your waterline with a white eye pencil. I used a WNW Color Icon pencil. Then take a navy eyeliner(I used ELF Brightening eyeliner in Midnight....but I don't recommend this pencil...not very smooth!) and line your lower lash line. Top this liner off with a navy eyeshadow. I used the Maybelline duo in Shocking Seas and mixed the 2 blues together.

Step 5: Line your top lash line with a black liner. I used the Jordana Fabuliner Pen.
Step 6: Curl your lashes & apply mascara & you're done! I used the Rimmel Max Volume Flash Mascara. I just opened this tube, and the formula sucks when you first use it. So my lashes aren't looking their best in these images! LOL I also forgot to clean up some messes here and there, but I got the job done.
Here are a bunch of pictures of my eyeballs!

Well, I hope you enjoyed this look! It looks alot better in person. I have trouble photographing my own eyeballs! Especially up close! I hope you take a look at the tutorial Amarixe did! She is a sweet girl & has a great channel.

Happy (super hot & humid) summertime!!

=)
